For the first time ever we have thrown open the doors of Greenstone Lodge in December and February, and what a flying start our winter weekends had. Throughout autumn we took on the very important job of coming up with and taste testing an alpine inspired menu that would be as fit for a Scottish winter as it would be on the slopes of Val d’Isere. It probably goes without saying at this point, but of course, it would also be 100% vegan, gooey cheesey fondue included.

Why make it Alpine you ask? Well, its pretty cold here in the winter, and, we have our very own ski resort just over 10 miles from Bridge of Orchy at the Glencoe Mountain resort. We’ve never tried the skiing or snowboarding , but we can vouch for the incredibly fun sledging and the cable ride up to the slopes offering the most glorious snow capped views. Snowman building optional, but advised.
