Your Greenstone Lodge has been updated, but you don’t have to scan us for threats, unless you find the idea of pineapple in a savoury dish threatening, which some do. But what if it was whisky caramelised smoked pineapple? That’s right, Whisky – Caramelised – Smoked – Pineapple. That’s all the best words, all in the same place, and of course pineapple.

That’s just a taste of our new menu for 2024, obviously it wont just be a plate of pineapple as that would be silly, think of it like a film teaser where they show one tantalising bit rather than those trailers showing you everything that’s going to happen and ruining the film before you’ve even seen it. Bloomin’ Hollywood.

We have also updated 50% of our bathrooms, which in total is one bathroom. Anyone staying in our twin room last year would surely have noticed the shocking clash of colours between our lovely green tiles and the light blue/off grey shower cubicle. We thank you all for being too polite to mention it. We now have a brand new shower cubicle and shower, which is all fully tiled with the same green tiles as the rest of the bathroom, and now matches the bathroom in the double.

The final changes are a new fence (old one just completely fell down) with added rockery for those who enjoy a rockery, and we are also implementing the idea of a bowl of sweets in the corridor to help yourselves to.

Everything else is the same, there’s still free cake when you arrive, drying cabinets for wet clothes, homemade shortbread in the rooms, stupidly good scenery blah blah blah……
